The passage of time is probably one of the most interesting issues that the human being has to deal with. In Western culture, admitting that the products we buy, and which are the objects of our desire, are just like us, subjected to transformation, is taboo. It is easier to believe that they will always stay brand new and shiny. Items that wear out or change are not considered valuable. Good quality means permanence, clothes that do not lose their shape after washing, colour that does not fade, car paint that will never stop glistening, and an apple that does not wrinkle.

The exhibition In.Stability (et Omnia vanitas) focuses on various approaches to the question of time and the fluency of life materialized in objects of contemporary design. Displayed items are not the victims of the passage of time and decay. They proudly bear their scars that testify to their inconstancy.
